Personalized Care for Adults, Teens, and Couples

At ROOT Wellness Hub, therapy isn’t about quick coping skills or generic advice. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and getting to the root of what’s really going on beneath the surface.

We work with adults and couples who may look like they have it all together on the outside—but inside, they’re overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly struggling. Whether it’s anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship patterns, or childhood wounds that still impact you today, we’re here to help you untangle it all with compassion and clarity.

What Makes Us Different

Unlike large group practices where therapists are typically generalists, each therapist at ROOT has a clear specialty. We’ve intentionally built a team of deeply trained providers so you can work with someone who truly gets your story and is specifically trained to address your specific issues.

We also believe that talk therapy is just one part of the healing process.

That’s why ROOT offers more than just therapy—we integrate trauma-informed yoga, meditation, functional nutrition, and acupuncture under one roof. We are dedicated to supporting your healing from every angle—body, mind, and spirit.

Whether it’s learning to regulate your nervous system through movement and breath, exploring the gut-brain connection, healing your inner child, or relieving chronic pain through ancient Chinese medicine, you don’t have to navigate this journey alone—or in pieces. Here, your care team works together to help you heal at the root.

FAQ

  • We are a private-pay practice, which allows us to offer the kind of care we believe in—customized, holistic, and not limited by what insurance will cover. We value your privacy and future wellbeing, and know first hand that involving insurance companies in your care can have unforeseen consequences. If you would like to submit a superbill to request out-of-network reimbursement, we can support you with that, but know that it does require a mental health diagnosis. Please talk with your provider directly for more information so that you can make an informed decision.

  • Most of our providers do provide telehealth services. Please inquire with your specific provider.

  • At ROOT, we welcome and support clients from all faith backgrounds—including those who identify as religious and those who do not.
We recognize that for some, faith is a meaningful part of healing. For others, it may be a source of confusion, pain, or trauma. Wherever you fall on that spectrum, you are safe here. We hold space for your individual story without agenda, pressure, or judgment.

  • Yes. You are welcome to use your Health Savings or Flex Spending Accounts for therapy at ROOT, but keep in mind that it may require a diagnosis to be “medically necessary.” Make sure to talk with your provider if you plan to use your HSA/FSA card to cover therapy services.

  • Fees vary based on which provider you work with, but sessions are between $125-$225, depending on length of session, how intensive the work is, and the training / experience of the therapist.

Some therapists with higher fees do offer a sliding scale for those who qualify, so please reach out to discuss your individual needs.

  • Sessions last anywhere from 50 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the type of therapy being provided. For example, EMDR/ART sessions may sometimes be longer than a typical 50 minute session.

  • Clients who start with weekly appointments tend to make the fastest progress. However, each case is different. We typically recommend that you go no longer than 2 weeks between appointments to start, and then frequency may be reduced after healing begins and symptoms stabilize.

  • That largely depends on your specific situation. With acute stressors, you may feel improvement in 6-8 sessions. Accelerated Resolution Therapy sometimes even has quicker results. However, depending on the severity of your trauma history, current life stressors, and the beliefs you have about yourself and your ability to heal, therapy could take longer. Some with significant trauma (think an onion with lots of layers) may need 1-2 years to fully peel back all the layers. When you meet for your intake appointment, your therapist may be able to give you more personalized feedback based on your unique situation.
